In 2005 playwright and director Kim Selody adapted Silverwing for the stage. Featuring an original orchestral score by composer Denis Gougeon, and innovate video projection, it premiered at the Manitoba Theatre for Young People in Winnipeg and was a great success. Featuring Jesse Aaron Dwyre as Shade, Amber Godfrey as Marina and Christopher Sawchyn as Goth.

In 2006 the play was staged by Vancouver’s Carousel Theatre directed by Carole Higgens and featuring Victor Mariano as Shade, Maria Romo as Marina and Johann Helf as Goth. The production has also been a hit with audiences and critics alike.
